Yes, all of our trainers are Enhanced DBS checked and certificates are verified on a regular basis.

All our trainers are annually moderated and regularly verified and have a formal teaching qualification with a minimum of Level three education and teaching award. In addition all are trainers are currently employed in pre hospital settings and therefore are required to complete a specified amount of clinical time dependent on there specialty.

Yes, all of our courses are taught in accordance with the latest UK Resuscitation Council guidelines (2015) and also aligned to any other relevant guidelines and professional guidance.

Field Medical Training are fully trained medical practioners such as paramedics, Emergency medical technicians and nurses. All the trainers are still current and work in medical roles providing pre hospital and trauma care. Field Medical Training is fully regulated and approved through Ofqual and Qualsafe Awards. Our trainers are highly qualified Ex Military Medical, Health and Emergency Services Professionals who use their first aid on a regular basis and are experienced and proficient first aid trainers. Our courses are practical based and held in small groups so that everyone can receive individual attention to ensure you feel confident and competent in coping with an emergency. We have lots practical resources available to ensure your time is utilized productively, and that you go away confident in you abilities. Our trainers are always on hand to answer any questions and to help you hone the skills being taught. The course content can be tailored to your needs, so that you leave confident in the knowledge and skills you have learnt and able to deal with situations that may arise within the scope of instruction.

Our Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) 1 day courses are accredited and regulated practical courses that meet the First Aider requirements of all workplaces with less than 50 employees with low to medium risk and for larger and higher risk businesses to support other First Aiders. We also offer the full First Aid at Work (FAW) 3-day and 2 day refresher courses for groups.

If you’re attending our fully regulated Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course, you will receive an externally awarded Ofqual Certificate, valid for 3 years. This course involves practical and multiple-choice assessments and your certificate will arrive by post within 5-10 working days of successful completion of the course. All certified courses will receive Ofqual certificates 5-10 day following the course but will receive an attendance certificate on successful completion of the course. For our non-certified training course you will receive and attendance certificate and where appropriate a CPD certificate.

This dependent on the course taken however most certified courses your certificate is valid for 3 years. We also offer Annual First Aid Refresher courses to give you the confidence that your knowledge and skills are up to date. AED certification is only valid for one year. On successful completion your certificate will state the run out date.

We recommend comfortable clothing to participate in the practical elements of our training. You will be required to bend down and kneel so skirts and dresses are not ideal.

We have a maximum of 12 people on our courses. This ensures a comfortable learning environment and the time and space for trainees to get lots of hands on practice.
